“If you want to fit in like a local on your adventure to Big Sky Country, here’s everything you’ll need to know from one. Denim is a year-round style staple, so whether you’re visiting in snow or sun, always have jeans on hand. Expect snow until at least April and bring warm jumpers and all-weather boots with tread. Finish off with a Carhartt jacket and people will be shocked to discover you’re not a true Montanan. Explore the area’s amazing vintage shopping at Rare Bird, get coffee from Treeline and brunch at Jam, all of which are within a few blocks of each other. If you’re looking for a day trip to explore the beautiful scenery, the historic Yellowstone National Park is less than a two hour drive from Bozeman.”
“I’ll be spending 10 days in Egypt over the early Easter break, visiting Cairo, the Pyramids at Giza, the amazing temples at Luxor and finally a cruise down the Nile on a Dahabiya sailing boat to Abu Simbel. With so many stays in different locations I will be using my Antler packing squares to make moving between hotels a breeze. As my trip will mainly be sightseeing, my focus is on a wardrobe that conceals dust and dirt and fits in with the regional dress codes: lightweight cargo trousers and shirts in khaki and stone, comfortable sandals, a shawl and my Stetson hat for day, then fabulous kaftans for night. I’ll be packing lots of bold sunglasses and jewellery to add personality to each outfit. I’m thinking ‘Out of Africa’ meets ‘Death on the Nile.’”
“This year, I’m road-tripping along the coast from Montevideo, stopping in beach towns such as José Ignacio and Rocha, with plans to do some surfing and explore the wine regions along the way. My style reference is Kate Bosworth in ‘Blue Crush’, so I’ll be packing laid-back separates, woven dresses and swimwear in sunset tones for long beach lunches. A chunky knit is a must for cooler evenings. A handful of standout accessories will be key for switching things up throughout my trip.”
“Over the Easter holidays, I’ll be visiting family in Thailand, firstly in Bangkok and then island-hopping. Because I’ll be moving from the city to the beach, I need a capsule that sees me through both. With that in mind, I’ll be taking comfortable layering staples that centre around a versatile, neutral colour palette. A good pair of shorts and classic cotton tanks work for the high, humid temperatures. I’ll also include linen shirts that cover my shoulders when visiting temples and sacred spaces.”
“For my upcoming holiday in the Maldives, I’m going to be tapping into the relaxed island aesthetic with a capsule of easy separates in tropical tones that will take me from day to night. As a lot of time will be spent by water, swimwear is integral to this. A chic one-piece can be dressed for lunch with a sarong and statement earrings. I’m not packing heels, instead a pair of smart leather slides that can be worn on the beach and for dinner. A raffia tote will double as a chic pool bag – and not forgetting a good book to see me through hours of sunbathing.”
“A trip to the Dolomites is all about outdoor adventures exploring the breathtaking scenery, so practical layers are a must. Before my trip, I stocked up on Uniqlo Heattech thermals and a packable down jacket – essentials for staying warm without looking bulky. You’ll be thankful for investing in Gore-Tex hiking boots to keep feet dry, too. And don’t forget a good SPF to protect skin from the elements. For a truly memorable experience, spend the night in Tires and begin an early 6am hike to the Alpes di Tires refugio, where a large bowl of warm beef noodle broth awaits you as the perfect reward.”
“I’m going to Jamaica in August, and a holiday to a tropical island is the perfect opportunity for me to step out of my style comfort zone of neutrals and become a little more adventurous with colour. This is a destination where less is more, so I will be packing lightweight pieces that are easily rotated. I love Jil Sander’s knotted leather flats, which made me think of the string vests and dresses that are often worn on this sunshine island. They’ll work for both day and evening, worn with shorts and swimwear, then teamed with a simple black dress.”
“Greece has become our go-to for a multi-generational holiday thanks to their impressive offering of villas that suit a holiday of this style, with communal spaces to enjoy throughout the day.. My packing hack? A tonal co-ord. It’s versatile enough to create multiple outfits effortlessly. I especially love pairing a white swimsuit as a top with shorts or a sarong for a chic lunch look.”
